Back pain is a common health issue faced by people. Back pain is pain felt in the back, sometimes it may be acute, sub-acute, or chronic depending on the duration. Most common areas of back pain are neck pain (cervical), middle back pain (thoracic), lower back pain (lumbar) or coccydynia (tailbone or sacral pain) with the lumbar vertebrae. Back pain is a problem faced by eight out of ten working people. Experts say that back pain is associated with the way our bones, muscles and ligaments in our backs work and connect together.
Pain in the lower back (lumbago) is particularly common, although it can be felt anywhere along the spine. In most cases the pain isn’t caused by anything serious and will usually get better over time. Poor posture or sitting for long period and stress are major risk factors of back pain.

Common causes of Back pain are :

Frequent usage of commonly prescribed pain killers may give some side effects like heart attack, digestive problems, and can cause harm to kidneys.

Acute Backaches occur due to lot of strain on back and excessive stress – This stress leads to straining of back muscles and ligaments.
