Corns are small circles of thickened skin with hard central core on the outer most layer of the skin. Corns usually develop on smooth skin surfaces and pressure points like sides of the toes, bottom sole of the foot.   • Fibrous corns– this type of corns are attached to the deeper tissues and are also painful. When you face corns for longer periods it leads to fibrous corns.
