A bill seeking replacement of CCH (Central Council of Homeopathy) got approval in the Lok Sabha. As the chief of CCH and other office bearers were facing grave charges of corruption, the Government had to abolish the current board and replace it with the board of Governors. The Aayush Minister Shripad Yesso Naik while moving the bill said that “this amendment of replacing the present Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH) board with the board of Governors mainly aims at improving the quality of Homeopathy Colleges and education in the country.

Criticizing this act of Government, the Congress member Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary said that “it is unfortunate to terminate the whole CCH because of a corrupted chief.”
